Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer in our team, you will work alongside passionate and collaborative colleagues to collect, process, and analyze data from multiple sources, transforming it into critical insights that drive decision-making. You will be involved in the entire process, from data collection and preprocessing to user behavior analysis and data visualization, using tools such as GA, Python, SQL, and Power BI to deliver tangible value to the team and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection

    • Gather and integrate data from multiple sources, including website traffic, user behavior, and product data.
    • Use tools like Google Tag Manager to ensure data completeness and timeliness, supporting business decisions.

  • Data Preprocessing

    • Clean, transform, and standardize raw data to prepare it for analysis.
    • Develop automated data processing workflows using Python, SQL, or similar tools to enhance efficiency and ensure data consistency.
  • User Behavior Analysis
    • Analyze user behavior data and build predictive models to forecast trends.
    • Design and optimize metrics to help teams make data-driven decisions and improve products and user experience.
  • Data Visualization
    • Utilize tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create clear, impactful visualizations and reports.
    • Transform complex data into easy-to-understand charts for management and product teams.
  • Data Management
    • Design and maintain reliable data storage systems to ensure data accuracy, availability, and security.
    • Leverage technologies like BigQuery to establish automated data monitoring mechanisms and improve system stability and efficiency. 

Requirements 

  • SQL: Proficiency in querying, processing, and managing data using SQL, with the ability to extract critical insights from large datasets.

  • Python or R: Basic proficiency in Python or R for data cleaning, analysis, and modeling, including scripting for automated processes.

  • Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Tableau or Power BI to translate data into comprehensible visual reports.

  • Big Data Technologies: Basic understanding of BigQuery, Hadoop, or similar technologies for handling large-scale datasets. 

    Data Management and Reliability: Strong grasp of data storage, management, and validation concepts, with the ability to design and implement monitoring mechanisms to ensure data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in databases and experience with GA4 (Google Analytics 4).
